St. James has a rich heritage of Christian worship and service that has been in existence since 1865. Your worship experience will be meaningful and Spirit-filled. We ask that you pray for us as we pray for you that the Lord will allow continued growth in the Spirit and Love.

  • What can I expect from St. James AME Church?

    At  ST. James AME Church, we are committed to sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples. Through loving and serving, we endeavor to live our lives as examples of God's grace and love. When you join us for worship, you can expect to engage with a church family that will encourage and equip you to grow in your faith. From the youngest to the oldest, there is a place for you here!

    Absolutely! Our African Methodist Episcopal Church would be honored to pray for you. If you need prayer, go to the bottom right corner of the website and click the "Request Prayer" button. You can choose to keep your request private, visible just to our pastors, or to make it public to the AME Church, allowing more people to pray for you.
